Last week we hosted a gorgeous lunch at London’s legendary private members club ‘Annabel’s‘ to celebrate that you can now hire the unique and spectacular garden during the summer months. Whether its to host private parties or your wedding, the Garden is an oasis in the heart of London’s Mayfair making it a really special place to host an event.
Taking inspiration from the garden, together with the team at Annabel’s we curated a guest list of luxury wedding and event planners and invited them to join us for a summer lunch in the impressive Silver room which overlooks the magnificent garden. The most exquisite invitations were created by Intricate Creations, purveyors of bespoke laser-cut wedding and event stationery which blew guests away before they even arrived.
Arriving at the Grade I listed Georgian mansion house set on Berkeley Square, guests were welcomed into the Elephant room for a champagne reception and were given private tours of the club before heading in to lunch in the Silver Room.
The tranquil elegance of the Silver room was transformed into a quintessential English garden with florals adorning both the tablescape and suspended above the tables using cottage garden style foliage and blooms such as sweet peas, stocks, clematis and delphinium, the scent of the room was divine.
The tablescape was perfectly complimented, from the luxury crockery and glassware from Whitehouse Crockery to the intricate, bespoke napkin rings made just for Annabel’s.
Intricate Creations also designed the menu & name card which was a detailed, laser cut floral tower with the menu details inside engraved onto mirror, it really was all in the detail.
An exquisite menu of Tuna Tartare, signature miso-glazed Black Cod and contemporary Mille Feuille was served by the first class team at Annabel’s, enjoyed with a delicious Rose wine. Whilst guests dined Lucy and her team from the Live Event Artist were busy creating each guest a bespoke portrait to take home, a unique keepsake for our Wildbout Annabel’s lunch.
