A Royal Floral Masterclass

It was a truly royal, floral experience

We recently collaborated with international wedding and event designer Karen Tran for her 3 day London Royal Masterclass at the Lanesborough hotel.

The iconic London landmark was chosen for its exclusive location on Hyde Park corner and is a stones throw from Buckingham Palace. With the Royal Wedding only a few weeks away it was the perfect fit for a Royal Inspired Masterclass.

The 3 day, intimate masterclass was attended by students from across the world, all keen to learn from the very best in the business in producing world class, luxury events. On the final night a Royal Gala was hosted in the Belgravia, the exquisitely designed room filled with hand painted fresco ceilings and cut crystal chandeliers.
As Karen’s London floral representation we worked with a list of talented industry suppliers to create the most luxurious and intimate gala dinner.

The room was completely filled with freshly cut flowers and the smell was just incredible.
Tulips, roses, phalaenopsis, cymbidium, garden roses, hydrangeas, hyacinth and sweet peas decked the tables, fireplaces and even the doorway as guests arrived under a ceiling of white tulips.

The floral installation was the largest the hotel had ever seen; it was floristry at its most luxurious level.
It was a privilege to work at one of our favourite London hotels and be a part of something so special with such creative people. A huge thank you to Elizabeth (the amazing cake lady) and Jane (Luxury planner extraordinaire) who were integral in bringing this event to London.

Peachy Keen

Even before Pantone unveiled their top ten colours for spring I had already been crushing on peach this season….moving on from the ever popular soft blush pinks, pale peach and corals are really on the up with our brides this year – we are finally seeing the rise and rise of soft and dusty peach tones.
