When I first ventured into floristry I never expected the path to lead me to where we at Wildabout are today. Having worked alongside London’s finest event planners, we have seen creativity that will blow your mind, and our soiree at Café Royal was no exception…
Karen Tran, famous for her awe inspiring floral master-classes staged around the globe, teamed up with the team at Wildabout to create a beautiful backdrop for her Gala dinner at the renowned Café Royal on Regent St. By Bruce Russel one of London’s most distinguished wedding planners was the fabulous host for the evening
The innovative use of flowers included burgundy Tulips, Phalaenopsis Orchids, lilac Memory Lane Roses, dusty shades of purple and pink hydrangea, blue and red shades of Vander Orchids, cerise pink Clematis and Sweet Avalanche Roses – whilst this sounds like it couldn’t possible go together the end result was simply stunning, have a look at the images! The setting of a trailing floral garland cascading off the edge a few feet onto the floor adorned the long banqueting table and made for dramatic, lavish scenery.
We wanted a prestigious yet unique venue, and the beautifully refurbished Café Royal provided a brilliant backdrop for our luxurious dinner. Following on from this event and other equally successful events, Wildabout are thrilled and honoured to be their preferred supplier…..we are really looking forward to the future events here, it’s always such a pleasure to work with such established venues.
The Pompadour room, with its decadent Louis XV1 interior is perfect back drop for weddings and other very special events. Whilst the rich solid oak panelling may seem somewhat masculine, Wildabout have some amazing designs that ensure the sumptuous era is reflected in very striking and feminine ways.
